Job Type: Freelance / Contract (Project-based or performance-linked)

Duration: Initial 3-month campaign with strong potential for extension based on performance

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and well-connected Sales/Lead Generation Specialist to drive user acquisition and build a network of student promoters for FutureLife across universities in Kuala Lumpur.

You will be responsible for onboarding both individual student users and student promoters (campus ambassadors) who will actively promote the platform within their universities. Your efforts will help us rapidly grow our student community in KL.

Key Responsibilities

– Identify and target major universities in Kuala Lumpur (e.g., University of Malaya, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Taylor’s University, Sunway University, etc.).

– Recruit and onboard student promoters/ambassadors: Conduct campus outreach, presentations, and one-on-one meetings to sign up enthusiastic students who will promote FutureLife.

– Drive user acquisition: Organize or participate in campus events, tabling sessions, social media campaigns, and direct outreach to onboard students onto the platform (Marketplace, Jobs, Rentals, Deals, and Community features).

– Build and manage a growing network of student promoters, providing them with necessary resources, incentives, and support to hit onboarding targets.

– Track and report weekly/monthly performance metrics (number of promoters recruited, users onboarded, engagement levels).

– Work closely with the FutureLife team to refine outreach strategies and promotional materials tailored for Malaysian students.

– Represent FutureLife professionally on campus and maintain positive relationships with student bodies, clubs, and societies.

Requirements

– Strong existing network or easy access to university students in Kuala Lumpur.

– Proven experience in sales, lead generation, campus ambassador programs, or student marketing (previous experience as a student promoter or brand ambassador is a big plus).

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – comfortable approaching students and speaking in group settings.

– Self-motivated, energetic, and target-driven with a strong sense of ownership.

– Familiarity with university campus culture in KL and popular student hangouts/channels.

– Basic digital marketing knowledge (Instagram, WhatsApp, TikTok, campus Telegram groups, etc.).

– Own transportation is preferred for easy campus mobility.
