Data Entry: Waghong Supplier Receipts into an Excel Template (Accuracy-Focused)

About the job
I run a small café in Yan, Kedah, and I need supplier receipts and invoices entered into an Excel template I provide. The work is repetitive and rule-based, and accuracy matters more than speed.

What you’ll do

• Enter each receipt from a photo or PDF into the template (date, supplier, invoice no., category, item, qty, amount, payment method)
• Use the dropdown lists only. Don’t type your own categories.
• Mark unclear or unreadable receipts as “Needs check” or “Unreadable” instead of guessing
• Run a self-check before sending (no duplicates flagged, no missing amounts, totals match a sample of receipts)

What I’ll provide

• The Excel template, with dropdowns, built-in validation and a duplicate check
• A one-page instruction sheet with example rows
• Receipt photos or PDFs in batches
• Quick answers when something is unclear

Requirements

• Accurate typing and strong attention to detail
• Basic Excel (dropdowns, filters)
• Can read English and Bahasa Malaysia receipts
• Reliable turnaround
• Will keep business information confidential

Nice to have

• Accounting or bookkeeping background (students welcome)
• Experience with receipt or invoice entry
