Remote Audio Recording Project for English-Malay speakers

Project Desciption

We are looking for fluent Malay-English bilingual speakers in Malaysia to participate in a remote audio recording project. This project aims to improve speech recognition models. Mobile phone recording is acceptable, with no background noise.

Responsibilities

• Record scripted speech combining Malay and English.

• Read scripts clearly and naturally.

• Follow recording instructions and project guidelines.

• Complete assigned recording tasks within the required deadline.

• Ensure recordings meet the required audio quality standards.

Requirements

• Fluent in Malay and comfortable speaking English.

• Able to switch naturally between Malay and English.

• Clear pronunciation and good reading skills.

• Able to follow scripts and detailed instructions.

• Have a quiet recording environment and a reliable internet connection.

• Available to complete the recording tasks before November 9, 2026.

Project Details

• Work arrangement: Fully remote.

• Rate: MYR 900

• Recording format: Scripted, single-speaker audio.

• Recording volume: Up to 20 final approved audio hours per participant.

• Schedule: Flexible, subject to project requirements and deadlines.

• Scripts: Provided.

• Experience: No professional voice recording experience required.
