• Design and draw 2D and 3D CAD vessel and skid drawings according to client’s design specification, relevant design code and fabrication method.
• Prepare and check design calculations in compliance with design code and project specification.
• Involved in skid design work for drawing & calculation of piping and structure.
• Capable of handling skid design for various types of skid such as fuel gas skid, metering skid and produced water skid according to related design code such as ASME B31.3, AWS and able to read P&ID, ISO and G.A for skid fabrication.
• Provide technical advice to client, handle engineering meeting with client and act as design coordinator for piping, vessel, and skid frame structure design.
• Check and amend commented submission drawing and distribute AFC’s drawing to production and quality control departments.
• Able to liaise with client, third party and local statutory department (DOSH) for design document submission including managing DEMO Vessel new application.
• Manage engineering department and guide junior engineer to prepare pressure vessel design calculation and drawings with proper application method.
• Familiar with design specifications such as PTS , PED , ASME VIII div 1&2, Roark and Young, API 610 and API 650.
• To support and guide production team with relevant design document.
• Competent to handle design and calculation software, for example PV Elite, Tank, AutoCAD 2D&3D, Cadworx and Nozzle Pro/Solidwork (FEA).
• Design complete skid for water filter and chemical. The design scope includes piping routing, skid frame structure and various sizes of pressure vessel.
• Use 2D and 3D CAD software to prepare package cooling tower drawing, cooling tower piping ISO and Skid GA drawing.
• Design various types of pressure vessel according to ASME VIII Div.1
• Prepare MTO and engage with supplier for fabrication process.
• Prepare model 3D view for skid and pipe routing.
• Design piping according client specification, ASME B31.3 /
ASME B31.8 and analyze piping routing using CADWorx and Ceasar II software.
• Prepare line list and Pipe Isometric for Ceasar II Pipe Stress Report.
• Prepare and check pressure vessel design calculations in compliance with design code and project specification.
• Prepare mechanical P&ID, piping ISO and G.A for skid fabrication.
• Liaise with client, Third Party Inspection Company, and local statutory department (DOSH) for design document submission.
• Support and guide management team with relevant design documents.
• Check MDR and QC documents before submitting to client.
• To include QC scope in piping design such as welding detail , welding method like SMAW NDT, and painting specification.
• Competent to handle design and calculation software, for example PV Elite, Tank, AutoCAD 2D&3D, Cadworx , Solidwork and Ceaser II.
