Beng Han Gan Audit Associate am currently working in audit with exposure to IPO engagements, where I have developed a strong foundation in financial reporting, revenue analysis, and regulatory compliance under PCAOB standards. My experience includes supporting cross-border engagements and capital market transactions, providing me with practical insight into how companies prepare for listing, manage financial risks, and present financial performance to external stakeholders.
A key focus of my work has been on revenue-related audit areas, where I perform detailed testing, analytical reviews, and assessments of revenue recognition in line with applicable accounting standards. This has strengthened my ability to evaluate business performance, identify key drivers, and understand the sustainability of earnings.
I have also undertaken overseas fieldwork, including inventory stocktake procedures in Vietnam, and collaborated with teams across different jurisdictions. These experiences have enhanced my adaptability, communication skills, and ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-accountability environments.
In addition, I have prior exposure to Malaysian corporate tax compliance, where I was involved in tax computations and filings. This has provided me with a broader perspective on the relationship between financial reporting and tax implications.
