Working as the kitchen staff in the Johnny restaurant, it was my duty to prepare and cook all foods to the taste and the standard expected of the restaurant and to make sure that the food hygiene and quality was maintained at all times. I helped in the preparation of food ingredients, proper structure and adherence to recipes when preparing items on the menu specifically at peak time. I also made plates and displayed dishes in a nice way before they were delivered to the customers. I also contributed to cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen space, utensils and equipment so as everything is managed and safe. This job involved keenness to details, speed coupled with working in a hurry, and teamwork to work in harmony with other kitchen and service workers.
As a waiter at Sushi King, I was responsible for ensuring customers had a pleasant dining experience by providing friendly and efficient service. I greeted guests warmly, guided them to their seats, and introduced the menu, including explaining any promotions or special dishes. I took food and drink orders accurately, communicated them to the kitchen, and served the dishes promptly and neatly. Throughout the meal, I checked on customers to make sure they were satisfied and assisted with any additional requests. I also handled payments, cleaned and reset tables, and helped maintain a clean and organized dining area. This role required good communication skills, teamwork, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while staying attentive to customers’ needs.

Throughout my studies, I learned about social media marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), content creation, email marketing, digital advertising, and data analytics. Practical projects, campaigns, and case studies that were about creating brand awareness and online engagements formed some of the skills that I have gained in creating and analytically handling assignments. Such educational experience has made me knowledgeable in how, when, and what to implement when it comes to planning, executing, and managing effective digital marketing campaigns thus I am confident in assisting clients to expand their online presence and reach their target audience as a freelancer.
I completed my diploma in Business Management, where I gained a solid foundation in managing and understanding business operations. During my studies, I learned about key areas such as marketing, finance, human resources, entrepreneurship, and strategic planning. I also developed important skills like problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and decision-making, which are essential in both business and freelancing. Through assignments, group projects, and presentations, I gained experience in analyzing business situations and proposing effective solutions.
