Mohammadhassan Salmanian Architect & Urban Planner A multidisciplinary professional with over a decade of experience in urban design, education, and visual communication, I currently serve as a Senior Graphic Designer at MediaKit Sdn. Bhd in Kuala Lumpur. In this role, I create impactful visual content for digital and print media, specializing in branding, typography, and creative strategies aligned with business goals. My technical skills in Adobe Creative Suite are complemented by a deep understanding of design principles rooted in urban and environmental sustainability.
Before relocating to Malaysia, I held various academic and project-based positions in Tehran. As a freelance lecturer and educator since 2011, I have taught and developed courses related to energy-efficient urban design, sustainable development, and microclimate-responsive planning. I also served as a lecturer and educational consultant at the Iranian Architecture Center (IAC), providing academic guidance and curriculum development in urban planning and architectural theory.
My project management experience includes work with the Tehran Metro Organization and the Tehran Beautification Organization. These roles involved leading urban studies focused on transit-oriented development (TOD), parking infrastructure near rail stations, and urban art regulation across Tehran’s metropolitan zones. These projects required a strong integration of policy, spatial analysis, and community-focused design.
Earlier in my career, I worked as a teacher and educational consultant at Moallem Educational Complex, delivering strategic academic support and mathematics instruction to high school students, while guiding them through admissions processes.
