Project Desciption

Our team develops advanced solutions in the field of Edge AI — technologies that enable on-device data processing and video analytics without sending information to the cloud. We create products that meet high security standards and GDPR requirements.

Why the position is open
We need to implement an MVP Edge AI system: Raspberry Pi 4 firmware, an intermediate WebSocket service, and integration with AWS and a Laravel API for analytics and dashboards. The project requires a specialist with experience in IoT, backend integrations, and real-time systems.

About the project
Edge AI is a solution for local video processing from cameras: analyzing demographic and behavioral metadata without storing images, triggering content changes, and aggregating data into dashboards.

Mission of the role
To build a reliable, secure, GDPR-compliant architecture that enables on-device video analysis, transfers anonymous data to the cloud, and ensures instant player reactions to detected events.

Duties

• Development and implementation of the data processing architecture for Raspberry Pi;
• Integration of face recognition AI models;
• Performance optimization and data security assurance;
• Development of a Laravel module to retrieve statistics from AWS within an existing project;
• Collaboration with the R&D and Product teams to deliver the MVP and further scale the solution.

Required skills:

• 4+ years of commercial Laravel development experience;
• Deep understanding of network protocols, WebSocket, and REST API;
• Experience working with Linux;
• Experience integrating with AWS;
• Knowledge of GDPR principles, secure data processing, and encryption;
• Understanding of distributed system architecture, caching, and real-time communication.

Nice to have:

• Experience implementing and optimizing AI/ML models;
• Experience with DevOps practices (Docker, CI/CD, monitoring);
• Experience working with Raspberry Pi;
• Participation in building MVP products from scratch.
