Bookkeeper/ Accountant (Full-Time | Remote)

We are looking for a full-time Bookkeeper / Accountant to join our client, an Australia-based organisation. This role focuses on day-to-day bookkeeping and financial administration, including invoicing, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Key Responsibilities

Finance

• Maintain accurate financial records, including client invoicing, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Prepare monthly journals such as prepayments, accruals, and other adjustments as required
• Perform daily bank reconciliations
• Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant statutory requirements

Administration & Business Support

• Maintain internal systems in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Provide general administrative and operational support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
• Respond to accounting and finance-related queries

Collaboration & Contribution

• Work closely with team members to support daily operations and business objectives
• Contribute to process improvements and documentation within the scope of the role
• Manage workload effectively to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in accounting, finance, or a related discipline
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Willingness to learn and work with accounting systems and platforms (e.g. Xero)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Good communication skills for interaction with colleagues and clients
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office
• Proactive, organised, and responsible work attitude
• Proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese is required
