Project Desciption

1. Project Overview:

• About Speech Datasets Project 

  • A project to collect high-quality Malaysian-English speech samples for AI training.

• Work details: 

  • Record short sentences or two-person conversations in Manglish

  • Keywords/Situations will be provided

• Who can join: 

  • Manglish speakers comfortable with Business-related/ DevOps-related conversations

• Work Type: Super flexible & remote

• Task limit: No task limit. You may record as much as you can, as long as the quality remains high.

• Period: December – January

2. Task overview: You can choose one or do both of the events below.

• Solo speaking:

  • Duration per recording: 5 – 25 seconds 

  • Reward:
    Business: 60 Flitto points per recording  → 60 pt = $0.042
    👉 Earn around 8,640 – 43,200 points ($6.05 – $30.24) per hour
    DevOps: 80 Flitto points per recording  → 80 pt = $0.056
    👉 Earn around 11,520 – 57,600 points ($8.06 – $40.32) per hour

     

• 2-person conversation (you + your partner): 

  • Duration per recording: 5 – 20 minutes

  • Reward:
    Business: 400 Flitto points per  minute for each person → 400 pt = $0.28
    👉 Earn up to 24,000 points ($16.80) per hour, per person

DevOps: 480 Flitto points per  minute for each person → 480 pt = $0.336
👉 Earn up to 28,800 points ($20.16) per hour, per person

*Flitto Points: Points are rewarded after your recordings pass QC. Cash-out is available once you reach 10,000 pts.

3. Sample:

• Solo speaking: 

  • Business: “Boss, about the mesyuarat hari Jumaat ah. I’ll get all the documents ready before the meeting. If you want anything extra, just tell me lah.”

  • DevOps: “Aiyo, my code build dead again lah… better ask someone help check before I waste the whole day on this.”

     

• 2-Person Conversation: 

  • Business
    A: Eh, did you check the new contract from the client ah? The one they sent last night.

B: Ya, I saw already. But wah, the contract like very long leh. I only managed to go through half. You finish reading ah?

• DevOps:
  A: Aiyo, this one since morning already you know. Client complain the dashboard cannot load.

B: Wah like that cannot lah. Did you restart the service? Sometimes the cache stuck only.

4. How to participate:  
The Business-Related and DevOps-Related topics is a Private event.
Once you submit the Google form, we will contact you and invite you to the Private event where you can start your recordings. 

Please follow the steps below:

Step 1:  Download the Flitto app.

Step 2: Create an account. (Set your Native Language as “Malay” to be able to participate)

Step 3: Summit the Google Form (Link: https://forms.gle/PkVwFjT2rQZ19DkVA)
Please share your Flitto User ID and upload one of the required verification documents through the Google Form.
Accepted documents: Resume, Graduation certificate, Business-related or DevOps-related certificate(s)

Step 4:  Wait for contacting from us
We will contact you via email after reviewing your submission.

Step 5: Join the Manglish speaking and talking missions on Arcade.

Step 6 : Complete missions and earn points you can cash out.
