Marketing Content Writer

Project Desciption

I am looking for an experienced Marketing Content writer who can work with me long-term to write high-quality articles for my blog, brendanaw.com, which is dedicated to helping others build online careers.

While you will be assigned writing tasks, I’m looking for a proactive Writer who’s passionate about marketing and SEO to suggest quality topics to cover.

What will you be doing?

• Writing round-up posts/listicles, How-tos, or in-depth review articles

• Performing thorough research on assigned topics

• Following my blog editorial guidelines at all times

• Proofreading your work to make sure it’s error-free

• Writing without AI (I check with paid AI detection software)

What I require from you

• Extreme attention to detail

• Able to analyze the SERPs for a given keyword and craft a better article

• Proven writing experience with marketing topics

• Deep expertise in Blogging, Affiliate marketing, Copywriting, Email Marketing, or SEO niches.

• Knowledge of SEO best practices

Workload

2 articles per week (Average of 2000-3000 words per article)

Work environment

• No micro-managing (I don’t want to have to hold your hand, and I trust that you get the job done.)

• Openness and approachable (If you need help, I’ll always be here)

• Completely remote (All you need is a computer and a good internet connection)

• Flexible hours (If you have personal matters to attend to, just tell me. It will be given within reason)

Progression

• Excellent writers who can deliver near-perfect drafts will be promoted to senior writers/editors after a few months

Salary structure

• Monthly or Freelance (RM500-1000 depending on topic expertise and writing proficiency)

Important notes

• Make sure you include your samples of RELEVANT marketing articles.

• Don’t send me a portfolio of random articles that you wrote as a test or one that was already edited by the editor of the publication. (This will be an immediate rejection)

• Proven professional expertise with years of experience in related topics have a chance of getting their own author profile on my blog.

• You’ll be required to take a short writing assessment between 300-400 words if you are shortlisted.
