Social Media & Content Executive

Project Desciption

We’re looking for a part-time Social Media & Content Executive to support both our company and founder/personal social media accounts across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube and Telegram.

This role is designed to be flexible and primarily work-from-home, with occasional in-person meetings as needed.

The role is a mix of content creation, posting and basic content ideation. We will provide the subject-matter expertise and key messages, but we’re looking for someone who can help turn these into engaging social content without needing every post fully planned out for them.

What you’ll do

•  Help plan and maintain the social media content calendar
• Suggest content ideas and angles based on our articles, videos, market topics and founder conversations
•  Create Reels, carousels, Stories, short-form videos and social post
• Write and refine captions, hooks and CTAs
•  Edit simple short-form videos and create Canva assets
• Repurpose content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube and Telegram
• Schedule and publish content
•  Support basic community engagement
• Track social media performance and flag what appears to be working

What we’re looking for

• Good understanding of social media and what makes content engaging
• Comfortable with Canva and basic video editing
•  Able to write clear, engaging social copy
• Able to work from source material and turn it into social content
•  Willing to suggest ideas and contribute to content planning·      
• Organised, reliable, responsive, and comfortable leveraging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to enhance efficiency while maintaining critical thinking and human judgment.
• Strong team player who collaborates well, communicates clearly, and enjoys sharing ideas.
• Interest in finance/investing is a plus, but not essential
